Three measurements, one honest fit

Underbust (Band)
Wrap the tape snugly around your ribcage, directly under the bust. Keep it level all the way around and firm not tight. This gives the band size.

Bust (Fullest)
Wearing a soft, non-padded bra, measure across the fullest part of your bust. Keep the tape parallel to the floor and relaxed no compression.

Overbust (High)
Measure just above the bust, high under the arms across the chest. This helps identify shape and projection when the bust is soft or shallow.
Small things that make a big fit
The band does the work
Roughly 80% of your bra's support comes from the band, not the straps. It should sit level around your torso, snug enough that two fingers barely slip under.
Cup checks
No spillage at the top, no gaping at the bottom. The centre gore should lie flat against your sternum. If it lifts away, try a larger cup.
Strap sanity
Straps stabilise, they don't lift. If you're tightening them all the way to hold things up, your band is too loose go down a band, up a cup.
